I have just seen that ours (covid) is going to be relocated in the coming days, and that if people want to add anymore to do it ASAP. The stones are going to be numbered and bagged and relocated permanently to a site within our town. We also have a photographer going around taking family pictures (with their permission obs) on their doorsteps, for an historical record.

Hi,I think there maybe a 100 or more, no one has put their names on, they have been placed by local residents, I live in a small community. It is at the entrance of the children’s local playground, I will try to take a photo. Not as long as Totty the snake obviously ha ha

Just been down ‘the lines’ for a walk .
Marched the snake out at 190 yards.
Someone has done a ‘ 500 ‘ stone which is at about the 40 yard mark so I reckon at that rate there is about 2375 stones .
Sadly looks like someone has pinched the Bury Fc one from the first post .
There remains a Man City one , a Liverpool one , a Blackburn one , think I saw a Bolton one and an ‘ anti - Tranmere ‘ one

One of our local beaches has started a snake. Normally people paint rocks and leave them for others to find around the area, this is the first snake!

My son, daughter in law and two granddaughters have just had that photo done. The black and white one in particular is very effective.

Really sad to report of the tragic death of a young 19 year old woman who appears to have jumped from a bridge on the same path as the snake
RIP Cali Smith

A bit of false excitement today for the Totty Snake when someone announced it was up to 3000 stones and said the world record was 3646 and in reach.
Well that was the record from April to July last year when one got over 8500.
Still 3000 is a fabulous number
