Things that scare you rigid? *Warning - if you have phobias - don’t open thread*

What scares you?

I’ll kick off ;

Spiders - this was a dinner plate sized chap in Belize who lived under my hammock ...

Sharks - I’ve seen many sharks at sea ( even saw one when I was snorkelling in the Caribbean- I didn’t hang about)

Snakes ! This is another Belize resident - The Fer de Lance - a lethal bite that normally results in fatality.

That’s what scares me... what about you?

Spiders, irrationally scared of them, it's quite pathetic.

Big dogs, wasps and heights (unless I’m strapped into a rollercoaster).

Spiders for me too - even small ones! And touching spiderwebs, makes my skin crawl.

One is mice/hamsters.
The other is being stuck in a metal tube 6 miles up in the air. I manage but every holiday I worry for weeks about not being able to board the thing !

I clicked on this thread hoping that someone who started a thread about phobias wouldn't put pictures on.

My phobia is one of the things in the pictures, and I had to scroll by quickly whilst trying not to cry. My phobia is so extreme that I cannot look at pictures of them, cannot look at them on tv, and even toys that are fairly realistic make me completely freak out.

I guess people who don't have that extreme a reaction don't understand people that do, but for the sake of others like me, I'm sure it would be appreciated if there were no more pictures on here.
