That is why the advice is not to wear anything on wrists or fingers -

Do you clean your hands to take it off? (or is it potentially contaminated by you using your unwashed hands to remove it?) How do you clean the watch/device/whatever? Do you put a potentially contaminated watch back on your clean wrist? (Or how do you clean your hands properly after putting it back on?)

Only only use mine to record my steps, so I know to keep on top of them each day. I join a mid week hustle each week with a few fitbit friends to give me a bit of healthy competition. I don't bother entering my work outs in it

I’ve got a Fitbit inspire hr and find it great. Occasionally if I am really waving my arms around it thinks they are steps but not usually. DH has a Tom Tom which does far more but it was far more expensive and is very bulky on his wrist.
