Aw well this cheered me up no end.. I’m sat with tears of laughter running down my face. DH ran through to ask if I was ok.

That's hilarious. My daughter is extremely gullible and does the weekly shop with my husband at Aldi, so I've just sent this to her and am awaiting her reaction!

Needed this as we had a bad experience at our local Aldi yesterday afternoon. Queued up like good little soldiers and told which till to go to, which we did, and stood on required red square. Actually there were 3 between us and the next person when someone else jumped in front of us, dumped a whole basket of shopping down, turned round and shouted us to get 2m away from her. We politely pointed out she could move forward as there was 6m between us and the person at the front but she went on having a right go at us. DH pointed out she could move but said it was inconvenient and we should accommodate her. It takes a heck of a lot to rile dh but stick to his spot he did and told her off. Strange but the till assistant and door bouncer who was within hearing distance all ignored her and left us to fend for ourselves. We have used Aldi quite a bit during this shenanigans as it is normally easy to navigate but it did leave us thinking perhaps it is time to find somewhere else to shop. PS the basket of shopping she appeared with was that of someone else whom we saw her talking to earlier in the store and obviously was going to go through a till much later as she was further back in the queue as we saw her waiting at the packing shelf waiting for her basket of shopping.

My experience in Aldi (which was always my shop of choice previously) has been so bad of late that I believed this!
I was actually just on my way out the door to Aldi and it struck a little dart of fear into my heart
