Beer recommendation

Every year we go to USA I tend to buy a box of beer from Walmart etc. God this makes me sound so stereotypically British but usually lasts me a couple of weeks and nice to have a beer on the balcony at the end of the day.

Anyway normally buy what I know I will like, typically Blue Moon or Sam Adams Boston or Oktoberfest. Just looking for a recommendation of something else for a change. Like a craft beer/blonde beer rather than out and out lager type but don't want something to heavy and dark.

Any suggestions ?

I know nothing about the taste of different beers but my sons both like an occasional craft beer. Whole Foods and most supermarkets allow you to put together your own selection. You could get several different beers and maybe return for favorites.

Hubby likes ABC they have a fab selection there and you can buy them in singles so you can try different ones and are labelled with taste, hoppiness etc
