Anyone here now and know volcano bay wait times?
Read the horrible reviews and trying to decide if it’s worth bothering anyone know current ride wait times?

Here now and we went there a couple of days ago.
We had access to the early (8.00am) start and it was OK for the first couple of hours. By late morning some of the wait times were 60-120 mins. But if you use the TapuTapu wristband you can go and do other activities during the wait time and go back to the ride when you get buzzed. (You can only be in one virtual queue at a time though). BTW - We thought it was a great park with some rides unlike the 2 Disney water parks - well worth a visit. Edited at 09:47 PM. |

Have to agree with The post above.
We were at the park today at 8am and got all the rides we wanted to do by 10am. Even 2 goes on the aqua coaster. I was worried about visiting the park but it is the best water park I have been to. I am sure there are mixed reviews etc but it was great for us. We left there about an hour ago and the aqua coaster was a 120 minutes wait and the drop slides 90 minutes. I hope this helps. |

Same for us 4 days ago. Great from 8am - 9:30 then very busy. The wrist bands helped and we still had tonnes of fun whilst we were waiting to get in lines. The virtual time thing still made queues very long when lightning shut the water twice. We had a wonderful day though and were there much longer than we expected to be.

Went Tuesday at 7pm after a storm, park was empty so went on everything. Brilliant slides.
Went yesterday at 6pm - much busier and big queues for main slides. If going at peak times I can see why people give bad reviews. You need to go either first thing or at night. Tapu Tapu works very well |

Any waterpark that you need to be there before 8am on a holiday gets the thumbs down from me.
Last year it was awful. Wait for Tapu then a further queue, queue for food, lockers running out... Glad we stuck to the Disney water parks this year where we could get there for 10am and get on all rides within 15 minutes! |
