This is devastating news. Wishes was awesome, however I am not afraid of change and I don't believe Disney would have took this decision lightly, This new show will undoubtedly be a feast for the eyes and ears. Will greatly miss Wishes though.

Woohoo and Boohoo. I love me some wishes but on the plus side I get to see it a few more times, then the new one before we have to fly home (If Disney don't delay it)

Wishes and Happily Ever After
Hi
I haven't seen Wishes before but will be there as it ends and then our last night is the 12th and had booked the California Grill to coincide with the fireworks as it is our 10 year wedding anniversary. Will MK be very busy on the 11th and 12th do you think? Wondering whether to change plans to watch the last show on 11th and now wondering if should change anniversary plans to see the new show. |

Great news, something new to see on this years trip at the MK. Wishes was alright, I liked the fireworks, but could have left the rest, though I am an emotionless male. Might have something to do with it

I'm thinking it will be busy on those two dates. I wouldn't be changing Cali Grill - I'd think they'd be sure on the start date of the new show to take such a step as to announce the last date of Wishes. You'll have the best seats in WDW for the first evening of the new show!
I'll be avoiding MK on 11th and making sure I see Wishes for the last time a few days before. |

Ok that's lovely and reassuring thanks for coming back to me. I had prebooked the dining package for River of Lights on the 11th before I saw this announcement so will stick with that and avoid MK on the 11th. Thanks again

Would have loved to say a final goodbye to wishes
But I like the idea of this updated fireworks display and projection show.
