I've received my notification too. I'm going to sell back all but 100 of my shares so I can stay in the shareholders club. Shame the exchange rate has moved the way it has but hopefully I'll still make a bit of profit from the recapitalisation.

From the others I have spoken to, I would appear that I'm bucking the trend as I am holding on to mine.
I know that it's a risk, but it's one that I'm willing to take. However I really can't see that the price of them dropping below the value it's currently at. Certainly not longer term. That said, like most here, I'm not a shareholder for the (non existent) dividends - although the benefits are certainly a bonus. It's the fact that I can have the satisfaction that I own a very small part of a park which holds a place so dear to my heart. |

I missed my chance of getting extra shares. Basically I'd checked the time scales from disney and thought that had a few days left. Missed the email saying the actual time scale I should have been working to was shorter
I still want to stay in the club I hope that it's okay that I can do nothing and keep my shares as is. I don't wanna lose them. The way it read I wasn't sure if I had to sell back the 100 I initially had.

Oh dear. I'm sorry you missed out. I had a nightmare trying to sort mine out and only managed it after being so persistent. Otherwise I would have missed out on it all as well.
If you have the minimum of 100 shares and are already a Shareholder Club Member, then your membership will remain unaffected, so long as you retain at least 100 shares. Anything over that you can sell back to TWDC for €1.25 each, and they will pay for the transaction fees incurred too. |

Thanks for the advice I guess you win some you lose some with the missed opportunity. I hold 101 shares so I will do nothing and keep them and stay in the club. I didn't buy these shares for a great financial investment, especially considering if anything I've lost money on paper. Like you and most of the other people here I just wanted to own my own little fraction of the magic. (probably the equivalent of a filament in a lamp bulb - but its mine!)
