Miami for one night

Due to better flight costs we are staying in Miami for one night before driving up to Orlando.does anyone have any recommendations for a hotel please x

If it’s just a place to sleep and you’re not bothered about scenery, the Miami Airport Hotel is the one we used. It’s on the floor above the airport arrivals area, then a short travelator walk to pick up the car the next morning. It’s clean, very easy and does the job!

I agree with this, no frills but no travel time to get to so you can grab a sleep the. Wake up early and refreshed before hitting the road. Saves a day on car hire too so helps pay for itself.

Let him have the window seat on the plane, plenty of Miami beach to see on final approach.

We’ve stayed at the Hilton Miami airport Blue Lagoon Drive, lovely hotel, 5 min drive from the airport. We stayed there, spent some time in the pool, and then went for dinner before an earlier night and drove to Orlando the next day, stopping at Vero Beach for lunch. We’ve also driven up to Deerfield Beach, about an hour away from the airport and stayed right on the beach, again before driving up to Orlando do, again stopping at Vero beach.

We are doing the same in July.

Today I have booked Comfort Inns and Suites near the airport - brand new hotel, a bit more than I wanted to pay but looking at some hotel reviews a few cheaper hotels are a little tired and in need of refurb.

We are staying 1 night then explore Miami Beach area and the art deco etc the next day and then drive over to Naples and Gulf coast for 2 weeks.

Last August we flew into Miami and then drove an hour to Pompano Beach and stayed at the Residence Inn right on the beach

Then drove up to WDW for our stay at the YC the next day. The drive was actually quite enjoyable and the kids had an evening on the beach and in the pool at the hotel
