New puppy!

Hi guys,

So we managed to go ahead with our puppy collection and vet visit (both the breeder and vet had Covid-19 protocols in place).

As you may remember we were actually due to collect him on a fast approaching heartbreaking anniversary but we had to bring it forward due to the virus... he is already keeping us very busy and also putting a smile on our faces!

He is 8 1/2 weeks old an an absolute treasure.

He’s gorgeous, so tiny.

We got our puppy on Friday, she’s been great apart from crying at night, but we’ll get there.

Meant to have her second jab this Saturday but the vets aren’t sure yet if they can as currently emergency only. Not sure what to do if she can’t have it.

He is a chihuahua! A couple of years back we would not have entertained having this breed, just not our cup of tea but we ended up getting one three years ago and he’s fabulous, so we’re hoping Chip turns out to be as equally fab!

He slept through to 6am - all good!

Vets were great, main entrance was locked. Wait on car park, ring them to let them know you have arrived. We put Chip in a carrier, they came out and collected him and then delivered back to us when all done.

We wore gloves, wiped everything down etc and have been constantly hand washing all day...

I can’t make an appointment at the moment for his second jabs but they have said to contact them nearer the time... brilliant service today.

I’ve had yet another bad day, but Chip has really made me smile for the first time today, he’s adorable. I’m sure he will bring smiles to you and your family too xx
