Grand Floridian Outer Buildings

Last time we stayed onsite, I had a superb recommendation of booking a room at the Yacht Club which essentially got us a water view for garden view prices

Requested via TP and was lucky enough to get the exact room.

This time we're booked to stay at the Grand Floridian and if I can get a sneaky castle side-view for my garden view money I'd obviously be delighted! I've been looking at touring plans and the Boca Chica (building 8) rooms over Narcoossee's roof look promising. I wondered if anyone else had stayed in that kind of area and could recommend / comment?

I know it's no guarantee but TP room request was spot on for us last time, so I'm willing to give it another try

Hi, we stayed at GF last year and had requested to rooms you are looking at (Boca Chica, looking out over Narcoosees) We didnt get the room we had requested, or the building. We were in Sago Cay but we absolutely loved it there. The little marina is a great place to watch the fireworks from.

Thank you. I looked at the rooms overlooking the Marina and I think they have a view of the monorail? My boys would enjoy that

I also stayed in Sago Cay in October and loved it ..We had a side view of fireworks..Anywhere in the Floridian seems nice.We tried Touringplans for the first time last year and also asked for Boca China but got a different view and different building although as i said we loved it!

Really, I'm just hoping they'll upgrade me to room 4001... ;-)
