avis car hire at MCO

Has anyone used Avis car hire at MCO. We have a "free car" with our Thomas Cook booking but it will cost £360 to upgrade the insurance. I have found a car on the BA executive member site which is only a similar cost and has an additional driver included as well as total insurance cover. This would be using Avis. Has anyone booked with Avis through BA?

Thanks

Maureen

Thanks very much for your quick reply! I wonder if you can use avios points to book a car with BA?

We’ve just come back and used our Avios points with BA. All very straight forward. We did only go for a regular car though this time cos it was an extra trip and I think it was around 27000 avios.

You can use avios to pay for car hire with Avis, we’ve done it last couple of years, join Avis preferred to skip the counter and go straight to the garage
