As always each to own but you are already worrying about something that is so cheap to work around.
Enjoy whichever you choose.
Hi Duncan.
Thanks for your help. I used the Sunpass 3 years ago when I rented a car from Alamo. About 2 months after returning home, I received an invoice for $62. I knew it had to be a mistake, because when I asked them for the dates and times, they did'nt match when I was using the car.

I'm afraid I'm one of those sad people who keep receipts for everything, and 2 of the charges were for times that we were in the Ponderosa, another one was while we were in Epcot.

It took about 6 weeks for them to refund the charges after I sent them copies of the receipts.

So after that experience, we use cash now.
Thanks again
James

Thanks for your reply.
I just rounded the figures up because I was'nt sure of the latest costs.

Well that's made up my mind I'll be getting some cash ready for the few tolls I plan to use.

In that case, I would find it more reassuring to use the Sunpass as they have to provide pictures of your car going through if you dispute any charges. There have been many instances on here where people have paid cash but it's not registered and have been identified as a non-payer so they've then been billed again by the car hire company. Unless you're using Dollar, I'd go for the Sunpass.

Just in case anyone else wants dollar bills at any point, I have got them no problem from Debenhams, M&S and John Lewis currency desks. Use them for mousekeeping tips etc.
Don't think you can get coins though.
