Pre paid tank of gas
I picked my rental up last week at mco with Alamo.
On getting to my condo I noticed that the fuel gauge is only half full. I’ve taken a photo of fuel gauge. I prepaid for a tank of gas which I haven’t got. Should I just wait until returning the car on Thursday or drop them an email. This has never happened all the 30+ times I’ve been here. |

Hi. Actually you haven't pre paid for a full tank. What you have is the same as every rental, the car should be supplied full and either returned full or you pay them and bring it back empty.
Very rare that the car supplied is not full. We all know it's not to the brim but it should be showing on F. I would speak to them on your return as most are very good.

make sure your fuel gauge picture also shows the mileage (total, not trip)

It's quite possible the OP did pre-pay for a full tank of gas. Whenever I've hired from Alamo Ive always been given the option at the counter of full-to-full rentals (and they charge you for refuelling at a higher rate if it's not returned full), or pre-pay for a tanks of gas and return it as close to empty as possible.
If there are going to be more then 2 drivers on the car, we generally book the Alamo Gold package, which includes the extra driver & a pre-paid tank of gas. |
