Ooh that’s a good point - mind you my DS and OH might have liked to see Star Wars too!

We always do July as it’s Scottish school holidays and I’m a teacher. We find it hot but more than manageable. Just a bit of extra planning around the 4th. Rope drops at MK have worked well for us but I also like starting late and staying late.
I used to work in Leicester and they have earlier holidays there - traditionally all the textile businesses have the first 2 weeks in July or so off. I always used to enjoy the fact that I was “saving” my holiday until later in the summer.

Thank you - I am feeling reassured

We did the MK test run on the 3rd which was really busy but we got a nice spot to watch from. Our son is autistic and although he’s not good with crowds, the way Disney handled such a volume of people was impressive. They operated a one way system for direction people could walk in and they put lanes in which you had to follow. Made exiting and getting around much easier. We did the 4th at Hollywood studios and The fireworks were amazing. The weather was very hot during June/July. We absolutely loved it and would go in July again.
Thank you - we will brace for 3rd and 4th July and take things steady!
