Free Disney gift cards when booking...

Hi we have never stayed on site and was wondering...When atd or Disney or virgin give you the gift cards do they have an expiry date please?

Was thinking if we did stayed on site for 7 days whether we could use the gift card for the remainder of our off site stay on disney food or gifts in the parks.

Thanks xx

Don’t think they have expiration date you need to take your booking email to the big shop at Disney springs to get it not a quick process

Disney gift cards don't expire. But even if they did, it wouldn't be such a short time frame like being linked to your checkout since you can purchase them anywhere in the US (e.g. at Target) so many domestic visitors stockpile them prior to their trips.

That's only if you book with Disney direct. The travel agents seem to do it differently.

You collect the card at the airport with virgin and it was quite easy once we had found the desk! I don’t remember there being an expiry date.

Not true things may have changed in the 20 odd years since you visited.

We booked with Orlando Attractions when we collected the card we were asked which travel company we booked with and first of all she just said Virgin.

I think that their maybe an option to collect it from the Disney desk at MCO but I don’t know.

There were no such things as gift cards when I last went. I answered the question based on what I've read many times on here over the last 18 months or so which means that the information loads of other people have given out has also been wrong.
