No, we'll keep going with the current one, find out how that's being closed down etc and then probably apply for the new one in due course.

I say "probably" as I may take this opportunity to go down the Avios route instead.

As I understand it we will find out more about the MBNA cards in June.

I'm keen to find out how the proposed tie up with KLM/AF will go. If it offers more destinations at a reasonable cost then I'm quite looking forward to it. It should help when flying from the regions too as KLM and AF fly from more UK airports than BA. Of course, it could be a complete mess making VA flights less available and the KLM/AF flights could be unaffordable (from a miles and/or taxes&fees point of view)
