Discounts on DDP

We are not travelling until November but have been looking at adding QS DDP to our reservation at some point before we travel. Do Disney UK ever do discounted DDP offers?

Also now that you can have an alcoholic drink each day, must this be used alongside QS meal or can you have it on its own?

No, the dining plan is never discounted when buying it. There is a free dining offer, but you've missed it for this year.

The drink must be taken as part of a meal too.
