Just paid our final balance this afternoon... and then asked about the $200 card
Lady in VH states we have to collect from concierge at airport... where that is exactly im not sure?

We normally come off the monorail with the cases then head right when in the main area [with the big US flag] to the escalators and down 2-3 levels to garage to collect car

Hi all, I just thought I would wade in on this - I emailed the Virgin concierge team about this to try to get a definite answer. The rep called me from Orlando and said you have to collect the card from the Concierge Desk in Orlando airport (which sounds like a long old trek on the monorail to the main terminal, which we absolutely would not do after such a long journey even for a $200 gift card!) BUT after a bit of digging, it turns out that you can request the card be sent to your hotel instead. It takes a couple of days for it to be delivered - they obviously want you to go to the desk so that they can sell you extras - but if you email and request this they will arrange it for you.

Hope that helps!

Apparently you have to get on the monorail back to the main terminal, head to A Side (as opposed to B Side) go past a baggage area and the Virgin Holidays desk is around there.

God I really hope they sort out a more convenient way to do this. I’ll be annoyed if we still have to go to Disney Springs to pick up a card in 2019. 🙄 #firstworldproblems I know but it’s so behind the times.

I remember there was a man who wrote down gift card numbers on the Guest Services desk at World of Disney when we picked them up in 2017... very very slowly 😴😴

If it’s the same desk as last year it’s a bloody nightmare to get to...if you have children DO NOT drag them along too!
This of course added to the normal hassle of MCO...I had a husband wanting to curl into a ball and disappear, and two hysterically overtired little boys!

I know that feeling! When we went back in 2016 it took 3 hours to get through immigration - no way would I then go through to the main terminal just to pick up a gift card, after being up for 18 hours straight with my two little ones and a very stressed husband! I really don’t see why they can’t be sent to the hotel - obviously they want people not to collect them!

When arriving at Orlando airport, you have to go on the monorail to the main terminal. You don't have an option not to.

When arriving at Orlando airport, after going through immigration and collecting your bags, everyone has to go on the monorail to the main terminal. You'll arrive at level 3 (highest level) of the main terminal. That's normal and what everyone does.

From level 3 you can get to both side A or side B. To get to the VH desk, you turn right to side A, then down the escalators/lifts to level 1 (bottom level). Everything is in the main terminal so there's no need to go back and forth on the monorail.

I just copied that from another thread. I've never actually flown with Virgin myself.

It would be a bit of a pain if you've booked the Magical Express to Disney and want your gift card from Virgin. Disney's Magical Express is on level 1 on B side. So it would mean walking over to the A side, going down two levels to level 1 side A, getting your gift card from Virgin's desk, going back up two levels to level 3, walking across to side B, going back down 2 levels to level 1 side B, then walking all the way to the end of the corridor. It sounds tiring just typing it.

BTW, I think Virgin arrive at Gates 70-99 (bottom right in the picture I posted).
