Disney car care centre - OLCI & Skip the Counter

Hi,

We go on Thursday but have not got a car for the first few days when onsite. We are picking up our Alamo hire car from the Disney Car Care centre on our check out day from SSR and going to arrange transport with desk to get us there. I’m just wondering, if we are not picking car up at airport is it worth doing online check in/skip the counter at all? Also as we have 1 additional driver included, do I need to add myself to the booking online at all as extra driver? I can’t remember if I’ve done this in the past.

The CCC is not a skip the counter location. But doing OLCI hugely speeds up your time at the desk. You can add on the second driver then or at the desk

We did OLCI but still seemed to spend a long time going over the same things at the desk? I thought maybe the location didn't pull the info through? In theory it should save you time though so is worth doing.

Well, even if you provide the information, they still have to verify that the information you submitted is accurate, by comparing it to the actual documents (license and CC for example)

they just don't have to type it in, and that's where you save some time

if they didn't check, one could enter a random license number for example.

even with skip the counter, they verify the information at the gate.

Yeah, I think because we were very late in the day they were maybe just not feeling particularly speedy :p
