Already kind of dreading the crowds on our holiday next June
Can't be helped unfortunately as we are tied to these dates due to university leave and our youngest doing his Highers.
We've been 1st 2 weeks in July before and that was awful.

We go on 22nd June for 18 nights, and I just know it is going to start off busy and get busier and busier.

The weather doesn't bother me as much as the crowds.
Oh well, at least we are forewarned and can plan accordingly and hope it is ok

We’ve been in both June and July and it gets noticeably busier the further into July it gets. Your first week should be far quieter and easier around the parks. Enjoy 😊

We had our first trip in June back in 2010 - early to mid month. We didn't do Disney but did everything else.

First week wasn't so bad, queues for up to an hour for rides and hotel was moderately busy. The weather was also ok though quite hot and rather humid - I actually got heat sick twice.

Second week (week after about June 10th) was much busier and hotter. I remember the day we went to Seaworld the heat and humidity were almost unbearable - we coped by running between shops and shows for air conditioning. One day it was showing as 37C, I don't think it dipped below 30 our entire holiday but it was definitely towards the hotter end in the second week!

This was the year that Hogsmeade opened - it opened on June 18th. We were lucky enough to get in for a soft opening (which they seemed to be doing in our first week) and that area of the park was crowded so I think that helped keep queues for other rides down and other areas of the park quiet. It wasn't open second week and the parks were mental so I wonder if word got out.
