Looking for 6 to 20th April from Scotland - bit worried as cheapest is over £700 indirect, and most are around £900! Please reassure me they will come down?...

Flydrives were mega cheap yesterday for flydrives with BA - about £640 pp.
Manchester with an exchange at gatwick/heathrow are still cheap as are flights into miami.

I should have booked yesterday!

Dont panic (yet)...they will come down if you are flexible with route/stops ect. Can you tweak your dates or re they set in stone?

We have had some great bargains, you simply need to keep checking and book when happy with a price.

Also worth considering flying into Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Tampa for more options.

We have paid between £286- £625 from Scotland during Easter and Summer school holidays. Just keep searching

Cheers. We are a bit flexible with dates, and don’t mind where we have a stopover, but would really prefer not to have a long journey from the airport in Florida. Will keep searching...

We are looking for the same dates as you but I'm only casual about it at the moment because all my great prices for easter have come around September / October time.

If you can be flexible about the route you will get something for a good price. This year was EDI - LHR - MIA with BA which seemed to be the cheapest for North/ Scotland for my dates but who knows what it will be this time.

We should start a glitch thread ...

I booked my flights on May 19th 2017 for Easter this year (2018) and got them for £535 1 stop philadelphia. They do seem high so far for 2019- i'm checking prices in preparation for booking flights next year for Easter 2020. I hope they drop soon for you all x

I was tempted to leave it longer to book flights but got scared and booked at the 11 month mark but do you have any trouble finding accomodation/ booking rooms leaving it until sept/oct or do you book accomodation before flights? xx

I usually book flights first as those are the ones that fluctuate the most. However for Orlando and WDW I did it the other way around due to the free DDP offer still being valid for the very start of Easter. I also bought a fly drive Tampa on the 11th month - got a price I was happy with and am not looking back!
