OP, definitely get the Universal 3 park ticket (around £212 for 2018 in the FloridaTix sale) as that allows park-hopping and unlimited entries to US, IOA and VB for 14 days.

Kids can ride Hogwarts Express both ways !

6 adults and a child for approx £1500.

Think I also saw FloridaTix doing a 2-3 day Disney single-park a day ticket for £175 ?

Just to pick up on something that you mentioned, you say that the kids want to do Hogwart's Express but are not bothered about the park to park option, unfortunately you need P to P to do the Express as it goes P to P.
Mapleleaf tickets are currently doing a 4 Day MYW plus 5th day free for $399.

We're giving Universal a miss this year.. for what we pay for the tickets it's just not worth it. We went last year for 3 and a half weeks and only went 3 days to universal. .. this year we're going for 2 weeks in Florida and week up the east coast to New York .. weve got Disney annual passes which we bought last year as we knew we would be back so we saved that way.. . We worked it out universal tickets are £1500 for the 6 of us.. and for what we would probably only use 1 or 2 days as we also have Discovery cove booked and Seaworld/Busch .. days at beach.. Go Orlando Card. Ect... We definatly feel it's a lot of money for what you get out of it..the kids don't really miss out they've got enough to do. Busch and seaworld has the more thrill rides which we love.. and il give them a slap if they moan about not going.. they shouldn't be so ungrateful 🤣🤣
