Mobile Cheapest time of year?

As the title says really, what is everyone’s tips in terms of getting a bargain? I understand ‘cheap’ is not the right expression when pricing up a WDW holiday however based on a family of 4, 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant there must be certain times of year that tend to be less expensive than others?
Obviously we are going to have to work around school term times however has anyone taking their children out of school during term time and faced the consequences to again, pay a cheaper price? Not planning to go again for a good few years however it’s always nice to get planning early 👍

Feb or Oct half term. Straddle a week either side for decent pricing. If you’d like to limit their time out of school, the last two weeks of Aug but arriving home on the first Monday or Tuesday of school brings the flight down.

First 3 weeks of May is a cheaper time to go, lovely time to go aswell, we've been 3 times then & it's great, there's some brilliant late bargains then too, obviously September is a cheaper time but with kids just going into a new school year not a good time, we really love may but are trying October this year

I have just done dummy bookings for March, April, September and November 2019, and November is the cheapest when it comes to accommodation. The WDW package came out cheaper by £300 (value), £400 (moderate) and £800 (deluxe) for 9th November for 14 nights than the other months. Flight wise, there be less of a selection of direct flights as a lot of charter's don't tend to fly that late in the year, but you should be able to pick up direct flights for around £400-£450 and indirect for £350.

We always find May to be the cheapest option for us - we try to do 1 week term time 1 week school holidays. This year the school actually authorised a full 2 school weeks off as long as DS completed a work book (we were taking him either way though and I would have paid fine if so).
