Can you tell me about MC’s?

They have arrived after our trip in 2017. Is it a set cost? Set distance? Do they venture offsite?

Have you used one?

Thanks as always

It’s a set cost of $25, they only go to places onsite (parks/hotels/water parks/Disney Springs) but have started doing airport runs from MCO if you’re staying at a deluxe hotel. You need to download the Lyft app then activate it on MDE or at the concierge at your hotel. I found this article really helpful to explain how they work.

Through the Lyft app. There must be loads of them now as I saw about 50+ parked up near the West Side. I think thats where they valet them and also park overnight.

They also do the airport runs for those interested. Think its something like $150 or so.

We used one last Christmas to get from BLT to AK. I'd downloaded the Lyft app in the UK but had trouble requesting the Minnie Van (from memory that option wasn't showing up) I took my phone to the reception desk at BLT and the lady there had to phone someone to get an activation code? Eventually it worked and it was a lovely experience

We used them on about 3 occasions during our November trip.

We downloaded the Lyft app here but had to go to our reception at AKL and because it was a UK phone she had to make a call to get the Minnie Vans activated on the app.

Once it's added to the app we found it is very straight forward in the morning to request one, see where it was and how long it would be before it would arrive. Different story leaving the park in the evening, we were never able to get one.

Drivers are very friendly and obviously knowledgeable if you needed to know anything. You don't tip the Minnie Van driver or at least we were told that in November.

If going to Magic Kingdom they drop you off at the bus stop nearest bag check. If using an Uber or ordinary Lyft car and going to MK ask to be dropped off at Contemporary and walk across otherwise if you say MK they will probably leave you at the Ticket and Transporation Centre.

We used one last month to get us to an early ADR. Took less than 10 mins to arrive from requesting. We did tip our driver. You can trip in cash or add it via the app.
