They had lots of films in pe and you can pay to upgrade for the full package in economy, I think it’s about £6

For long haul flights - yes. They have individual seatback entertainment. You can choose which films or TV shows to watch and when to watch them. The standard selection is a bit limited but you can pay £6 to increase the selection to 50+ films.

For short haul flights - generally not, no.

We go in September so will list what they are showing before the upgrade if interested. I do not know how often they change the films/tv programmes. The in flight magazine is dated Autumn 2019 thomascooktravel.ink-live.com pages 120-121 but it mainly promotes what you get when you pay £6 to upgrade

My girlfriend found the registration for the plane we travelled on last August and searched about the entertainment online.

At first it was saying there wasn't any individual entertain screens, but this quickly changed.

I believe that 90% of TC long haul flights have the entertainment.
Ours was amazing, we upgraded on the flight to get the full movie package.

Our son took his iPad and that kept him busy on the whole flight.
Make sure you take a USB charger with you. There are USB ports on the planes.
