Adding to Disney booking

Hi folks

Booked for 9 nights at POR next Sept, on qsdp. Still undecided on location for last 7 days of trip, maybe villa or hotel. Another option is to stay the whole time onsite, but couldn't afford to add this to POR.

If we switched to a value Disney hotel, would we still get breakfast included for that week and also, would Disney transfer us? Thanks!

No, if you switch to another Disney hotel you won't get any dining plan/free breakfast offer for that hotel. Disney class them as two separate bookings and you'd need to book another set of tickets with the second hotel to get the free dining/breakfast. Unfortunately, Disney don't have their systems set up for split stays.

Seems a bit harsh, since I've already included their 14 day tickets to avail of qsdp. Don't suppose it's worth ringing anyway to see is it?

If we did wish to extend the stay at POR, could that be done or is this the same?

You can extend, upgrade, downgrade or shorten your POR stay and keep the same conditions as when you booked. Unfortunately Disney have never made a split stay with free dining easy. If you do call them and they are able to offer you free dining at a different hotel for the second part of your trip without buying new park tickets please report back as it�s never been anything they�ve offered before.
