Mobile Just back - Tokyo

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the people that helped answer my questions here for months, I landed yesterday late afternoon in London. Just awake now to get ready for 05:30 tram to Glasgow.

For those going, or considering going - Tokyo Disney exceeded all my expectations. The parks, cast members and Japanese people in general were amazing.

Hilton Tokyo Bay was a great hotel, and I loved it when we moved into Tokyo itself. A day trip to Kyoto was an amazing addition to the holiday.

Will try and do some sort of trip report over next few days, am off all next week too.

Going a week after Golden Week worked a treat, great weather and crowd levels.

I had a tear in my eye when we approached Disneyland the day we arrived, but DisneySea blew my flipping mind!

Now searching Dark Web to see how much one of my kidneys will sell for ...

Sounds great glad you’ve enjoyed your hols.

Did you find a day in Kyoto was enough or could you have spent more time there?

Safe journey home for the last bit of your journey.

Thanks

Louise

Sounds amazing! It's definitely on my list and it's good to hear the Hilton is a good option as that's the hotel I've had my eye on. I don't think i'll make it till 2021 though!

Would love to read a trip report too

Me too! We wanted to go next year, but as we’d need to go in the summer holidays, it would clash with the Olympics next year, which I imagine will make it busier and more expensive - especially as we have no interest in the Olympics!

Be very interested in your trip report, its on our list for 2021 too - so as much detail as you can please - truth be told not too bothered about Disney but could tag it on - Kyoto is the place we want to be.
Glad you had a fabulous time.
