Really annoying system which led to us not being able to use our magic bands in parks several times due to credit card putting a block on due to so many holds

This wouldn't have been an issue last year.

I’ve just been to reception to pay my bill as I wanted to know what I’ve spent in pounds. Now on my credit card I have the £600 payment which seems right to what I’ve spent but also a £175.03, £97.55 and £111.13 which I presume must all be holds! She said there would still be a $100 hold as I’m still wanting to use my magic band which was fine but that is an extra £375 on my card!
It better get removed soon 😤 |

Exactly what I said at the front desk when I complained. At one stage I had FOURTEEN pending holds on my card.

I had to wait for them to drop off but I had a constructive chat with a senior manager who promised to take it higher up. They are receiving a fair number of complaints about the new policy. I politely warned her that the next step from guests would probably be to decline charging and that would likely reduce our spending on site.

We stayed in May, spent quite a lot in our room charging. I didn’t notice any holds on our Post Office CC. Our spending was charged every five days.
