Mine came out ok, took quite a bit longer though. Managed to get choc topping done too, all ready for tomoro

I’m sure the fan is fine. I just prefer to bake without.
I don’t use baking bands. I do wrap a lot of parchment around a Christmas cake though. I use Silverwood tins and always seem to get an even bake with them

Looking forward to pics.
I considered baking for us today but I really couldn’t be bothered! There were a couple of pina colada cakes left over from an order so we’ve eaten those 😋
