I feel your pain had problems last year after moving house.. try ringing to tell them you are leaving as the service is rubbish then tell them your problem they should put you through to a uk centre. Good luck 🤞🏻

I eventually resorted to emailing the CEO! A very long story of incompetence...

Have you tried 0800 800150?
That’s the number I’ve always used.

My BT internet stopped overnight on Monday.
I refuse to speak to them so did 'live chat' on my phone. Took the usual 45 mins of nonsense until in the end they said they would send an engineer but if they couldn't find a fault or the fault was in the house I would be charged £120+. Dont think so!

Anyhow I found an old hub and tried that. It worked!

So I did live chat again and they agreed to send me a new hub within 24 hours and cancelled the engineer. It arrived the next morning.

So, I hate their call centre but on this occasion they were excellent and I said that on the feedback form they sent.

Had ayear of hell with them, with regards to our broadband , they incited one thing g after another what was wrong, including having an engineer out new wiring, being at the end of the exchange etc etc and still it never worked properly and they still charged us . Left for another provider and no problems !
NEver did get any refund just got passed around by call takers

Never again they are the worst

A while back BT made a big thing about bringing back to this country some of their 'customer services'. There is a call centre here in Suffolk and apparently, from what I've been told, they 'bus in' staff from local Towns etc. Again, from what I've been told, many of these staff appear to be of foreign extraction. Nothing wrong in this but it does nothing to improve the difficulties experienced with understanding the person at the other end of the line.

Hope you get your problem resolved.

BT were fine for us until we had a problem and needed to speak to an actual person. Then our problems started !

I'd ring and ring off and ring back until I got someone from the UK.

Wasted hours and hours of my life that I will never get back trying to get someone to understand our problem.

Appalling customer service.

What I will say about my experience this week is the online chat person got cut off.

So her Supervisor rang me and asked me to fill in the satisfaction form. It was hilarious and I quote

Please don't be saying bad things about me

Please don't be ticking unsure as that is bad

Please be nice.

All of these have to be said with an Indian accent. I was rolling around laughing.

We argue in our house who is going to phone BT ...sorry but they have the worst and hardest to deal with, customer service ever. It’s like just hitting your head repeatedly against a brick wall.
