Bluewater or lakeside

Hi all,

We are booked on a Disney cruise from Tilbury Docks and are looking to book a premier inn the night before near either Bluewater or Lakeside, so that we can have a little retail therapy in the afternoon before a TGI Fridays dinner!

I haven�t been to either mall for at least a decade, but I know back then Bluewater was quite new and we much preferred it to lakeside, which at the time seemed to be closing down!

I take it lakeside has improved over the years as otherwise I would of thought it would of shut by now, and there is a premier inn near there which is walkable to TGI Fridays, but I am just a bit apprehensive if Bluewater is still so much nicer?

Any thoughts? xx

I would say Bluewater is a probably nicer experience (with more upmarket shops), that said we are regulars at Lakeside as it is closer to us and definitely has improved a lot in recent years particularly in the way of dining and entertainment so either would be a great stop before going in your trip!

Terrific! Thank you for this - I�ve booked to stay nearer lakeside and it sounds as though we will be fine just visiting there 👍

We love the TGI Fridays at Lakeside! There are also lots of lovely restaurants on The Boardwalk too with outside tables if you fancy some alfresco dining on the waterfront... or maybe after dinner drinks!
