You aren’t guaranteed a balcony at BC though you are at YC.

Can you email and request a balcony at BC?

Also, what time do the buses get busy going to the parks. We aim to be in the parks at 8am usually but this will be our first stay onsite so not sure whether we’ll choose a lie in...

If you booked through Disney just give them a call to add your room request. No guarantee though.

For our Beach Club stay we asked for a full balcony and to be facing the Volleyball pitches ( we wanted to be on the lakeside but only had a garden view and a day bed. We were lucky and got all 3 requests.

That’s not great then as the room was falling to pieces . I’d hoped they had done a further refurb since then.

Some at the BC have Juliet balconies , no good for that vital morning cuppa ! If like me that’s an essential for you then go for YC .

But isn't/hasn't BC club now been fully refurbed?
I am sure I've read it's all done now in time for the full re-opening?

Don’t think so, they were doing some exterior work in time for the reopening though.

We’ve gone for the yacht club. For our dates in august next year it was a few hundred cheaper than beach club! (Every time I’ve looked in the past yacht is more expensive than beach!?! ) from what I can see there is no wrong choice!

Oh that’s strange as I’ve just read it’s just the exterior and the last interior refurb was 2017
