Universal Surfside inn

Hi

So I am thinking of booking the suite rooms at Surfside inn for next year. I have 5 nights booked for Disney and then moving to international drive for 5 nights we have always stayed at Rosen inn universal. But I like the look for the 2 bedroom suite with the table and kitchenette thing.

What are peoples thoughts on it. We would get really cheap due to Tesco Clubcard points.
Are the 2 bedroom suite rooms nice.

Thank you x

Hi, sorry I can’t answer your question, but how do you use your Tesco points to stay here?

Ye so you go through rewards on your app and go through hotels.com

We have £260 in money so change that to hotels.com points/money is £780 so will use it for there and then I’m going hopefully to Disneyland California in august next year so will use some of that money towards hotel there.

We stayed at Surfside in 2019 and really liked it. Buses are regular, pool and bar are good. It’s far up International Drive and not too many shops/restaurants nearby.

Hi,

We stayed here in 2019 when the resort opened. We absolutely loved the 1 bedroom suite thingy. Privacy for the grown ups and 2 decent sized beds for the kids. Perfect! A nice little table and chairs and a fridge big enough for breakfast and some cold beers. The resort was great with a lovely pool, a good bar and the usual Starbucks and hotel shop.

Good location, quite close to Universal and Volcano Bay with regular busses just outside the hotel. Parking is in an onsite multi level garage.

There is a Costco opposite that sells all sorts of Universal and Disney bits and bobs. Lanyards, pin badges etc. There is also a Denny's across the junction from the hotel.

Good sized accommodation, nice pool, good location and decent price.
