Vista Cay, I drive
We’ve booked here via hotels.com (w free cancellation) for the end of our January trip and was wondering if anyone had any experience of staying there?
I can see that if you book on air bnb that you get a guaranteed room (as it’s a timeshare also) & they mostly seem a lot more modern. Worried we’ll get an old / unfurnished one as a result.

I have stayed there, and would love to stay again. I think my mum booked with deal a trip, as you could tell exactly which unit you would be staying in. we googled and found a site map so we could work out where the condos we were looking at were on site. We chose one that had a view of the seaworld fireworks from our balcony.

We've booked a town house for May 22, it was cheaper than booking a condo there.
We booked via My Villa Key (we could choose the property) as it was much better priced than VRBO and lots of other third party companies. We've also booked in the past via Millennium at Vista Cay. I've lost count of the number of times we have stayed at Vista Cay, it suits us perfectly.

We’ve booked for February with Orlando Resort Rentals via booking.com. We have booked an executive apartment and these are brand new so might be worth looking at these?

Thank you so much for all your comments and advice! I’ll definitely take a relook at what we’ve booked and check out the other sites.
The local looks brilliant! Perfect for seaworld and aquatica x

I have booked maybe 20 houses around Orlando over the years and this was my favourite location. Close to Universal, very close to the upmarket end of iDrive, close to the freeway to get to Disney. Nice units and pools, Publix and a decent pizza place right outside the gate, and a nice lake to walk around.

Just checked and we actually booked with booking.com - I can only see the option between deluxe or premium, which one is the executive please?

Maybe the executive are sold out for your dates?
This is the website and the executive ones were only completed this year. They are a bit smaller but we decided we would prefer new over space. orlandoresortsrental/acc...bedroom-units/ |

We have stayed here twice and mainly positive vibes. Only issue was that cleaning not included and although we booked it as an extra, didn't materialise and that was a real pain. Publix nearby is a real boon and there is also an excellent off license (or there was 2 years ago!). location v convenient as well.

We spent 2 weeks at Vista Cay in 2015 and really enjoyed it. Location was fantastic, the condo was very modern, and the communal pool area was great, and never overly busy.
I'd definitely consider staying again. I'd try and get a condo on the 2nd or 3rd floor though is you can. |
