Me and the hubby started episode 1 at 9pm last night, convinced him to watch episode 2 also then he went to bed at 11pm but I couldn’t and stayed up to watch the final one. Brilliant viewing and I didn’t even look at my phone once in 3 hours and that tells me something has captured my attention!

This was amazing. I tuned in for Stephen Graham, but if Sean Bean doesn’t clean up the awards for this it’s a travesty, he’s an amazing actor.
And the way it finished, just brilliant.
And try to catch ‘Accused’ also Jimmy McGovern and starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, that was on years ago but is also brilliant. I watched that at the time as Stephen Graham had come to my attention back then as AlCapone in Boardwalk Empire. Do you know Martin Scorsese says he is one of the best actors of his generation? Correct Martin!
And all Stephen Graham fans should watch Boardwalk Empire although he doesn’t appear until quite a few series in, that is a fantastic series.

YT . We have watched Boardwalk Empire twice and I agree with you about Stephen Graham. As an aside that was one heck of a scar he sported playing Capone!

With regards to Time I thought Stephen was better than Sean in their respective roles.

Will have to start watching it again. He plays a very good menacing gang boss as he proved in Boardwalk Empire.

He also played Baby Face Nelson in Public Enemies so he’s likes a 1930’s character

Superb TV , i know a couple of prison officers and they said it was on the money for realism

Sean Bean was brilliant & dont think ive ever seen Stephen Graham but in a bad performance.. if the vurtues was a film that was oscar standard...

Watched all 3 episodes tonight and a great drama which was superbly acted. Wasn’t sure where it was going to go at the beginning of the final episode but well done.

I do think Stephen Graham is fantastic and when interviewed comes across as a genuinely nice man who is fantastic at accents!
