Anyone waiting for Virgin flight cancellations?

I have a flight in 20 days time and it still hasn't been cancelled. I know I'm not going, it's ridiculous. Anyone else waiting?

You haven't said where you are travelling to but not sure if you are aware that some Virgin flights are still operational - using Florida, as an example Miami. Could that be a reason why you haven't heard of a cancellation?

I assume you have checked Manage my Booking and your junk emails. Perhaps contact Virgin and hope you get some news soon.

It's LHR-MCO, and is still there in manage my booking.

I had a quick look at Virgins website for 30th June and 1/2 July and no direct flight LHR-MCO is showing - how very odd.

We are due to travel on the 16th July from Man to MCO & spoke to Virgin yesterday who said they have cancelled up to the 4th July so far. They advised to keep a look out for a cancellation email within the next couple of weeks, obviously they couldn’t confirm it wouldn’t be going ahead yet but the impression I got was that it would definitely be cancelled. We have already moved the holiday 4 times since May 2020, think this time we will just get a refund & book once the borders open.

Spoke to virgin this morning she said the system will be updated tommorow my flights 9th July been canceled

MAN-JFK-MAN 15 July
MAN-LAX-MAN 16 July

booking affected by these changes these will update on travel agents systems overnight and appear on 12th June.

During June we plan to maintain operations on the following routes, subject to late changes:

1-20 June, 2 per week
21-30 June, 4 per week

Suggest anyone with an LHR-MIA flight in June checks their bookings - so confusing/upsetting for all concerned.
