My friends cat does this all the time. He’s famous in our little town and even has his own fb page. Worries her a lot though when he’s missing for too long though.

Our Daisy has been spending more time out doors in the evenings now it is warmer. she rarely goes further than the garden bu Tues we couldn't find her, we called and called shook the bag of dreamies and she still didn't come home. Eventually she turned up late wed eve and just gave us the "what " look. It is awful when they go on their travels , especially if it is out of character.
Hopefully your fur baby will just turn up in the same way and wonder why you are crying tears of relief.

I am so worried and just praying he will come home

One of our girls is on lockdown for the same reason. Went out last Saturday at 7am, seen Saturday night at 11.30pm then nothing the next day. DD was just way to do fliers at 8pm Sunday when she turned up. Played the ‘I’m not coming in game & ran around the garden’ & eventually came in Monday at 4am. I’m sure your cat will turn up but it is very worrying. If they like watching mice, birds then this is wonderful weather for them.

One of mine got !ocked in a neighbour's garage and we also had another neighbour's cat locked in our garage one night. At this time of year they do get into sheds and garages when people are gardening and end up getting shut inside. I also had a cat who went missing for a week, I think he got stuck somewhere on the building site nearby as he was covered in mud when he returned.

It's such a worry when they disappear but hopefully yours will reappear very soon x

Hi Alison sorry to read about your cat. They are such a worry. As mentioned but his litter tray outside. Also some unwashed clothing and his bed/bedding. Go out about 1030pm when it is quieter looking for him. Put up fliers and ask neighbours to check garages and sheds. If there are any empty houses near you check them. Check with local vets, Cats Protection and RSPCA. Also ask neighbours if they had any deliveries such as shopping in case he went in the van. My nieces cat was missing for 1.5 years but hope he turns up soon. Thinking of you.
