delivering to the hotel...

Hey there guys

I'm hoping someone can confirm for me that it's definitely ok to have stuff delivered to your Disney hotel in time for your arrival? I've never done it before but am pretty sure it's ok to do...and also think they keep it for roughly 2 weeks for you? Any help greatly appreciated

We've ordered to our hotel before.
You just need to make sure on the delivery address you write you're full name as normal and your arrival and departure dates.

We always order a couple of days before we arrive so our stuff arrives at roughly the same time

Do some Disney hotels charge for the privilege of accepting packages - I've noticed more and more hotels in the US starting to sneak this extra "tax/charge" in recently?

I ordered some parcels to be delivered to All Stars in April and to claim my parcels I needed to give reception a list of the tracking numbers. I wrote them all down and the parcels were delivered to the room whilst we were in the parks later that day. In previous years they've just been handed over. There was no charge at All Stars.

I've done it twice at POR and not been charged but I was once charged quite a bit ($20?) by Rosen Inn at Pointe

If its a Disney resort and has a convention centre (e.g. Contemporary / Boardwalk) they can come in via the Business Centre. If so, then there will be a collection charge (about $10 I think).

Awe great, thanks guys! It's just our marriage license (which gets hand delivered) and some bow ties...we didn't want to chance getting them shipped to Scotland as we've had a few things not arrive recently from the US so it was the lesser of 2 evils...if ya know what I mean?! They're due to be delivered on our arrival day so hopefully all will be ok
