Realistic? Safe?

I am a complete craft Geek and love creating all sorts of different things.

I am very very keen to check out the likes of Michaels, hobby lobby etc.

my hubby and boys however arent

we are planning a few days where we want to be back at the hotel to chill by tea time.

once the family is back at the hotel has anyone then went back out by themselves to do some "mummy time" shopping?

i just know if i take them it will be a nightmare !

I go out on my own to the villa several, times a year never feel unsafe just be as safety conscious as you are at home I also love the craft shops but you may find visiting them without a car a bit of a pain

I often drop DW off for some shopping, take DS out to do some fun stuff such as karting or do a short park visit and then return for DW later.

If she gets bored with shopping (never ever happened to far...) she can always get an Uber and text me to go straight home.

Yes I have done the same thing to Michaels and Jo_Ann enjoyed it on my own no worries about dragging others around craft shops.

If you have time you might want to pop to Hobby Lobby. There's one near the Loop (not walkable) and a new one opening in the grounds around Mall @ Millenia.

When DH goes off to play golf I have 4-5 hours all to myself to go off shopping or sight seeing, I love my own company. I have never felt intimidated in Florida but obviously you need to be aware just as I would anywhere.

Same as the other ladies (and gent!) have said. Love a bit of me time on hols too so I can wander without one of DH,DD or DS asking if I'm done looking at "my stuff"!
