Buying an iPod ~iPad ~ iPhone general info

Didn't want to start up another iPad availability thread but how are people getting on buying them from the Apple stores in the Malls this week. We're out there next Monday and I'm wondering now what time to set the alarm on Tuesday to get in line

what kind of price ranges are the ipads? i would like one but really not sure if its worth the money?

Visit the Apple.com website and add on the sales tax of about 6% - that's an easy one to answer

Got one last week from the millenia mall got there about 7.30am was about the 50th in line the manager came out and said what was available which was wifi only no 3g. So a few went away which left me about the 30th the guy would not say how many they had delivered and said at 8am he would come back and take us inside to que up outside the store and give us a ticket.At 8.15 he came down the line with tickets for 32gb wifi only that's all what was delivered and they only had 38 so I managed to get one and was back at the villa in Kissimmee for 9.15am .

Funny enough we were only talking this morning and wondering if the lines had gone down each day!

Wonder why they are still so scarce - is Japan still affecting them or are they playing a clever strategy. Whichever, I am so glad I got mine as I love it and it is never far away from my hands!

Well at least the manager is being kind enough to tell people in advance. Personally after a 3G, just don't fancy spending every morning down at the Mall

Took 2 attempts after arriving at 7.30am. Finally got a 16gb 3G White. Was after the 64gb but glad I was prevented by lack of stock as I can't see how I would use all the extra storage as my music can be streamed and I'm using the iPad for productivity rather than entertainment

Im out there in July and buying one for a friend,16gb Wifi only version hopefully...

Hope the queues die down as i dont want to waste time doing that !

It's worth checking Walmart & Target as they could have some in stock
