Showcase of Citrus

Was browsing Living Social deals for different things to do and found this

livingsocial/deals/1...amp-buggy-ride

There is also a 20% off code MOM20 at the minute. I though I'd give it a try as it works out very cheaply, and be nice to do something different. Anyone done this? Any good - hope so!

By the way I think the link may be a referral link - so feel free not to use it - but also feel free to

We've done it and quite enjoyed it but we got a better deal through groupon. I'd sign up to that and keep an eye out for a deal on there if I was you.

I don't think it's worth the full price but this and doing some lime and orange picking was a nice way to spend a couple of hours. lake Louisa State park is just up the road to, that's another nice place to visit, canoe, fish or just watch alligators, turtles around the lake.

Thanks - sounds good - will be nice to be away from the parks for a change of nothing else! I did look on groupon but more expensive there at the minute. I got 2 adults and 2 kids for $32 - just under £22 with the code so happy with that.

We visited Christmas 2013, we had a good laugh.

YOU HAVE TO TRY THE FROZEN ORANGE JUICE SLUSHY

Never tasted anything like it before, worth the drive just to have that

Great will be sure to try! - really looking forward to it - and was a real bargain I think.

You can go and pick the oranges, but the bags were enormous. They also have a farm shop, that's sells alsorts of bits and pieces, including the little bottles of pancake syrups in all different flavours (I may have brought a few back )
There's also a large pond to have a look around, with seats at the end of the dock, just waiting for you to have a picnic on.

We found it a fun way of passing a couple of hours

We did the tour at the end of Aug 13 - was a nice way to spend an hour or so on the tour but unfortunately there was no fruit to pick at that time of year Check their website to see what is in season.

Not sure there will be much to pick when we are there either - but hey, still should be fun i hope - not sure I fancy too much picking fruit mind, will probably be in need of some air con!

We got a good deal on groupon for this which also included $20 to spend in the shop. The orange slushies are to die for and they do a fab orange cake swell. The tour was great way to spend a few hours and if someone has a birthday near they get to drive the monster bus, my son did this and I think it was the highlight of his holiday.
