Deals (or no deals)

Hi all

I’d booked our dream trip to Disneyland hotel which I’ve cancelled 3 times now due to it not being open. Went to rebook again but there are just no deals at all 😩 I’d managed to get 25% off hotel, free full board and other extras. I know nobody has a crystal ball but do you reckon we might see some deals as the year wears on? Thinking of trying to rebook for November or December (although it’s not clear when the Disneyland hotel will reopen).

Also considering giving up with Paris and planning Florida next year instead 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Bleugh so fed up 😔

I’m sure once they reopen there will be some flash sales, they love a flash sale.

Agree, however, as some attractions are being refurbished for the 30th Aniversary (12 April 2022) I would have to decide whether my need for some Disney magic outweighed the loss of certain attractions during my visit.

The castle is to be refurbished for the 30th Anniversary celebrations and will be covered by a tarp, albeit a tarp that is painted to give a representation of the castle. However, the nighttime display probably won't be running.

So a flash sale might initially look good on paper, but please check to see what's open and what's closed during your intended stay and determine whether it's worth it for you and your party.

I've read that Disneyland Hotel might be going straight into refurbishment, and not re-opening for 2 years. X

The general feeling is that there won't be any offers for a while

There is a lot of uncertainty as to when the parks will be able to reopen & when they do it will be at a reduced capacity.

Sequioa Lodge isn't opening until October & Disneyland Hotel is shut indefinitely

I was about to change my DLH booking yesterday whilst on the phone to WDTC and the woman told me to hold off for a while to see what happens. We go mid May.
