I think it depends what's most important to you really... weather, crowds etc. There's pros and cons to all of them.

Easter and Christmas are very busy, and so is February around President's Day. I'm assuming you're looking at school holidays? If so out of your options I'd go for the end of August - summer crowds are starting to die down as the US kids go back to school and the weather is very hot. A few years ago we went around Spring Break and the crowds were crazy, so I think Easter would be bottom of my list. Never been over Xmas, but have gone at the end of Nov/beginning of Dec and we loved seeing all of the Christmas decorations.

Thank you, yes we have children so it would be around the holidays as much as possible. Xx

I think crowd levels would be my main consideration, so that is Easter and Christmas off the table straight away.

I have been in February and found it pretty busy compared to the other times I have been. I have heard that the last two weeks of August are not too bad as US schools have gone back, so I would probably go for that, but brace myself for heat and humidity.

We went from Aug 11th to 1st Sept in 2019 and it was ok not too busy. By the end of the month it was quieter. Very humid but coped fine with the heat.

August for me out of those (as long as you're happy with the heat then), I just can't be doing with the crowds around Christmas and Easter.

We love the beginning of December, all the decorations are up and all the benefits of Christmas without the crowds, perfect.

Thanks all, ideally we would do the middle 2 weeks of Dec but not sure I will get away with out of school for 2 weeks. For financial reasons it is prob going to be the only chance we get to take the kids as its taken us years to save up for one trip so really want to make it special which is why we fancied the Xmas season but August sounds good too. Thanks all xx

I'd just buy in a load of booze, wait for it all to blow over & go in Easter next year.

Think this year is just far too risky with Covid but we all have different opinions & different ideas 😊
