If it was not, it's a fortune with O2.

As above ee offer it for a tenner as a one month add on if its not included.

Outside of that a three payg sim with A bolt on for circa a tenner is your best bet.

None of these uk option allow calling to US numbers though. For that you can either buy a local sim ( van get them via amazon before you go), Skype ( free months trial before you fly) or use zipcall if its more occasional.

Plenty options and should never really cost more than £10 for a standard 2 or 3 week trip.
At the moment I’m on a SIM only from EE...a offer via uswitch of unlimited mins.texts. and 10gb of data for £10..cam with 6 months is Apple Music... not sure if it allows usage in USA

It won't as standard. But it will allow you to add the extra on for a single month for £10. Easiest and least effort way to do it whilst with EE.

This is what I use too and used phone/data as normal with no additional cost

Spoke on chat to EE...apparently for the plan that I’m on...the £10 for USA roaming...is a 6 month min commitment

The tourist plan was $30 for 2gb data over 21 days so the $25 5gb plan over 30 days is better value.

Yeah, pretty sure we can. Your 30 days start on the day you pay so a couple of days before travel should certainly be OK.

I'm going to test it as soon as we can travel and I'll post about it

Just went through it...my phone is compatible...and I went right up to the payment stage..looks ok...

Certainly a benefit then of not going to a store etc when getting to USA.

Now all I need to a holiday not to be cancelled...lol..
