BA Voucher request

I've just bitten the bullet and decided to push back our April 21 trip to April 22 ( just to be on the safe side as this will be the third re-schedule!)

If our flight is cancelled, will I be able to get a refund? This flight was booked with a voucher.

If the flight isn't cancelled, how long before the flight date do I have to request a voucher (is there a cut off time).

If it is a flight only booking then I think you can claim a voucher until check-in closes. For packages the deadline is 3 weeks before departure. britishairways/en-gb...=H OME#change

If it is cancelled then I�m pretty sure you can get a refund (even if you used a voucher to book). However, they will probably try and encourage you to take another voucher, although if you are moving to April �22 this May suit you.

If my flight gets cancelled with a BA Holiday booking will they refund me? I would rather that than a voucher.

Depends when it was booked under what conditions.

If it is before Sept 21 and booked under the recent guarantee scheme then yes. They recently cancelled our Feb travel.and refunded.

That scheme.only went out to the end of Aug though so wouldn't cover the OP.

But there are so many different scenarios it's impossible to say without knowing your T&C's.

Bit confused

So when you say pushed back until Apr'22 do you mean that's what you have already done & this is the one that you would cancel? Only reason I ask is that Apr'22 is the cut off to use those vouchers anyway so if you were to cancel this you are out of options IYKWIM

OP for info our outbound BA flydrive flight on 1/4/21 was cancelled yesterday. I�d hold off a week or so as yours may also get cancelled soon?

We had our outbound flight of our fly drive booking to Miami on 01/04/2021 cancelled on Sunday, I rang BA and they have refunded the deposit and it arrived in the bank today. I was offered a voucher but had the refund instead.
