Must do dining

So I’m booking our dining, it’s been a few years since our last stay so would be interested in everyone’s view on must do restaurants, we are on dining plan.

I'm going to tag along with this one, I'm interested too.

My initial thoughts are;

Homecomin'
Hoop de doo
Le Cellier
Cali Grill brunch
Jiko
Narcoosee

Tried all except Bruch at cali grill, and Homecomin'

We're a family of older teens and adults so no character meals needed, we've done them all I think!

My view is that there are no generic must do restaurants.

I think it is nice to get a mixture of different types of meals, such as a couple of signatures and a couple of characters in amongst others. We also like to try out one or two that are in or close to our resort and a couple of park based restaurants.

Restaurants that went down well with us include, CG brunch and dinner, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Chef Art Smiths, Planet Hollywood, Morimoto Asia, Takumi Tei (not on DDP though), Tusker House and Boma.

I would by no means say that the above should be everybody’s “must dos” though and the only ones of the above we will fit into our next trip are Planet Hollywood, Boma and CG brunch (this one we have not done on any of the last few trips).

As always, i'm going to say that the Yachtsman was a great signature restaurant, and for quick service you can't beat Satuli canteen in AK.

The food at the Yachtsman was excellent, as was the service. The actual restaurant is nothing special though.

We also enjoyed Hoop De Doo. Food was nice, service very good, show quite funny. The trip from MK to FW on the boat was also enjoyable.
