I've never tried a DVD camcorder so can't give my opinion on them.
I have a mini DV one it's a sony DCR-HC24 and it's so small it fits in a clutch handbag! It's simple to use and has touch screen controls. m x |

Deff go with mini dv, so easy to use, and that way you wont have any problems with regions as when you come to back it up on the computer you can pick the output region.
I'm doing a film course and I've heard nothing but bad things about dvd camcorders, it depends if you want to edit it! |
