Laptop recommendations please
Can any recommend a good budget laptop?
Only used for web browsing, watching TV/ films and playing some games. Not looking to spend any more than about £400

Should be a doddle at that price! When you say "some games" what sort of thing are you thinking of?
Any other requirements you are after? Certain size screen, blu-ray, lightweight? |

I don't think you can beat this from Costco direct:
Asus K55A-SX524H 15.6 Inch Notebook, Black £349.99 (inc VAT) £291.66 (exc VAT) Item # 154631 Pre-loaded with Windows 8 Home Premium, Intel Pentium Processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD and Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Drive. Voted best laptop under £400 by Which and Asus are one of the most reliable brands. Comes with 2 year warranty and 24 hour helpline which costs about £12 a month elsewhere. |

The Asus mentioned above it a good deal, you are getting a lot of machine for the money.
There are similar computers I've seen with half the RAM and hard drive space, but you are only saving about £25, so you might as well go for it. |
