Legoland Windsor with just adults?
We're going to be staying near Windsor in June and noticed we will be pretty close to Legoland - have never been before coz we don't have any kids so I thought it would be a bit weird if we rocked up ,2 adults !
But now I'm wondering if we should go check it out...has anyone else been without kids and is there really any thing much for adults to do or is it really aimed at kids?

We’ve been before and after kids. It really depends on what you like. If you’re into Lego, then it’s worth a trip to see miniland and the various Lego theming around the park. It’s also ok if you like mild rides as there’s a few to do - NINJAGO, the big mythica ride, haunted house and one or two others can be fun but are not going to give big thrills. It’s also ok if you can do it for free (lots of free ticket offers, Clubcard or Merlin annual pass). Otherwise I would not bother, there are usually big queues for the popular rides, and between parking and food it’s not the cheapest day

You may be a little bored as it’s aimed at younger kids.
We used to go a lot (with kids)but it’s gone down hill a bit. I would check though as they used to have a stipulation that you couldn’t go if you weren’t accompanied by a child but that may have just been the discovery centre. Thorpe park isn’t far from Windsor , about 20 mins by car . Edited at 06:01 PM. |

We are Merlin pass holders and live 15 mins from Legoland, I go pretty often with my 16 year old we love it.
Well worth a visit if you haven't been before, make sure you book on line or get a 2 for 1 offer as it's pretty expensive on the gate.
